This is the third talk in the Objections to Christianity series. I gave this one on the evening of the 4th of September at Monte Vista Presbyterian & Reformed Church. This talk looks at the age old objection of the presence of evil and suffering in this world as proof that an all good and all powerful God cannot exist. Again, as with all of this series I'm indebted to the work of Dr. Tim Keller in his book, "The Reason for God" and the sermon series he preached on the same subject.

This talk deals with the objection that Christianity is constricting in that it curtails our freedom by imposing rules and regulations upon us. Again, I'm very indebted to Dr. Timothy Keller for much of the thought and content in this talk.

This is a talk I gave at Monte Vista Presbyterian & Reformed Church on the evening of the 21st of August 2011. It's the first of a 6 talk series tackling objections that people voice about adopting the Christian faith. This talk deals with the objection that the Bible is not historically, culturally or personally trustworthy. The content in this talk is heavily indebted to Dr. Timothy Keller and his teaching on the subject, both in in his book "The Reason for God" and in sermons he's given on the subject. I didn't want to (nor do I feel capable) of re-inventing the wheel here. I apologize for the poor quality of the recording.
